Artur Bordalo's "Owl Eyes"
Portuguese street artist Artur Bordalo uses mixed media to create his own interpretations of the urban landscape and environment. He often composes his works using various found items that he merges together into beautiful forms. In that sense, his street art is unique because it appears slightly three-dimensional and is presented in surprisingly tactile formations. In 2014, Artur Bordalo was invited to produce an installation as part of "WOOL", an urban art festival in Covilhã, Portugal. It took him a little more than one week to create the eyes of a collaged owl composed of found trash and recycled materials.

Miguel Chevalier's "Magic Carpets"
Created by French artist Miguel Chevalier, this "Magic Carpets" is a kind of installation art that takes over the floor of the Sacré Coeur Church in Casablanca, Morocco. He made a charming scene there with the interactive lights. Using digital technique, he created colorful lights and mosaic pictures, which was inspired by the tradition of the Islamic art. When the visitors move in this space, the interaction of the lights will produce unpredictable movements, making them communicate with the space directly.

Willam Forsythe's "Nowhere and Everywhere at the Same Time, NO. 2"
The world's most creative "square dance" was found on the Brighton Festival in Britain. William Forsythe brought an interesting installation which made the tourists dance unintentionally. More than 100 delicate pendulums were placed on an ancient marketplace and they would swing according to pre-programmed time series. Tourists were encouraged to go through these pendulums without touching them so that they became dancers. Their dance steps were found when they were doing the traveling side step in order to avoid touching the pendulums.

Suzan Drummen's "Kaleidoscopic Floor"
In an act of patience and precision that boggles the mind, Dutch artist Suzan Drummen created installation art which demanded great patience. She designed sparkling floor installations using special mirrors, crystals, chromed metal, optical glass and precious stones. These objects were placed by Suzan Drummen to make patterns which looked like flowers. They are sparkling and beautiful. Of course, it takes great efforts to make the art floors. They are carefully placed by hand to make well-designed patterns with thousands of small artwork. People can well enjoy the sensual pleasure and visual stimulation in the sparkling space which extends to the wall.

Tom Fruin's "Stained Glass House"

As part of 2014 DUMBO Arts Festival, sculptor Tom Fruin installed his famous plexiglass house "Kolonihavehus" in Brooklyn Bridge Park. This colorful house was built with a thousand pieces of recycled glasses of different sizes. This time he co-worked with performance duo CoreAct to describe a lifestyle in a subtle manner.

Paul Cummins's "Ceramic Poppies""
888, 246 ceramic poppies flowed from the Tower of London like blood. 888, 246 was the casualty number of British army and its colonials' in the First World War. The first poppy was planted on August 5th when Britain was totally involved in the world while the last poppy was planted on November 11th, the Armistice Day. This astonishing exhibition covers the 16-acre moat of tower, which amounts to 250 tennis courts or 16 football fields. Ceramic artist Paul Cummins and stage designer Tom Piper co-worked this amazing installation: Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red.
