Profile of Canada La Filature Gallery:
La Filature is a contemporary art gallery in Gatineau, Canada, is a non-profit organisation which manages the building through a board of directors made up of representatives from AXENÉO7 and DAÏMÔN and members of the community. About 1,000 square meters is home to the artist-run centre AXENÉO7, the production centre DAÏMÔN and to artists’ studios.
La Filature gallery is devoted to the creation and dissemination of visual and media art, has been made possible by the support of numerous partners, and many artists in the region have generously contributed to the realisation of this dream.
