- Died in 1976, Alexander Calder was a famous American sculptor and the founder of mobile sculpture. Untitled (83.2 x 58.4 x 26.7 CM) is a representative work of Alexander Calder which is made up of painted steel, glass, iron wire, thread and others. This work fully demonstrates the conception of mobile sculpture through the framework which is created with space incision lines and dancing rhyme that is created with abundant colors. This work was sold for 8.314 millions US dollars at Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Evening Auction on May 11th, 2016.
