- On June 29th, 2016, an installation art Spirale, which was assessed for 250-350 thousand pounds before, was sold for 629 thousand pounds at Sotheby Auctions. This work was created by Günther Uecker, a German artist who was born in 1930s. He has created a remarkably tactile canvas via acrylic paint and thousands of undulating protrusions of vertiginous nails.
