Born in 1948 in Shanghai, contemporary Chinese painter Li Huayi now settles down in San Francisco. He is good at western painting and traditional Chinese painting. Ensemble for Stone (65.7 x 129.5 CM) is ink and color on paper, demonstrating the state and spirit of artist’s Chinese ink painting. This work was sold for 2,240 thousand Hong Kong dollars at Sotheby Auctions on April, 5th, 2016.
