American expressionist artist Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) was a hybrid of Puerto Rico and Haiti. He was a New York graffiti artist who could speak many languages though passed away at the young age of 28. His works have profound influence on contemporary artists and usually sell for a high price at auctions. 

One Eyed Man or Xerox Face is a 182.9 X 121.9 cm Xerox collage made of acrylic, spray paint, artistic oil sticks and other materials. This work was sold for 11.97125 million pounds at London Sotheby auctions in 8th, March, 2017.
