Pavel Mitkov Biography:

Pavel Mitkov (1977 - ) is a contemporary Bulgarian painter who was born in Sofia, is treated as one of best selling living painters in the country. He has been awarded a number of prizes in Europe, USA, and Russia; and had numerous international exhibitions in many countries. "Mitkov’s art conveys a message of peace, kindness and harmony". The artist got international recognition in 2004 when the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral Board of Trustees made a gift of Mitkov’s painting to then Russian President Vladimir Putin. Mitkov paintings have also been presented as gifts to Pope John Paul II, King Albert II of Belgium, Pope Benedict XVI, etc..
