Wang Panpan Biography:
Wang Panpan (1982 - ) is a contemporary Chinese oil painter and art teacher who was born in Suzhou, Anhui province. He is a member of the Artists Association of Gansu province. His works have been displayed many times in China and won many awards. The artist graduated from Oil Painting Department in Changchun Normal University in 2005. He gained his MA degree in “research on oil painting creation and teaching” from Art Institute of Sinkiang Normal University. Afterwards, he has been teaching art at Art Institute of Hexi College and other colleges. 

Award winning works:
Oil painting Hometown 1, 4 was selected to the art exhibition by graduate art students in southwest China and won recognition award.
Oil painting Impression of the Bund was selected to The Third National Youth Competition of Sketch, Color Still Life and Landscape Sketch, and won recognition award.
Oil painting Night, Zhouzhuang Village, and Impression was selected to “Night painting on Zhouzhuang Village” National art and photography competition, and won recognition award.
Oil painting Windless Days was selected to Gansu province art exhibition by young artists to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Party, and won the third prize.
Oil painting Autumn in Qilian Mount was selected to Gansu province art exhibition in memory of the 70th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong’s speech “A Talk at Yan’an Forum on Literature and Art”, and won the third prize.

Oil Painting Hometown 2 was displayed at Sinkiang Spring art exhibition in 2008.
Oil painting City•Light was selected to the photography, painting and calligraphy exhibition in memory of the 30th anniversary of the reform and opening up in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Oil painting New Tune in the Gobi Desert—Large Factories was selected to the Shanghai “Oriental” national oil painting exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of new China in 2009.
Oil painting Nameless Mountain was selected to the “Lujiazui” art invitation exhibition to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Party in Yangtze river delta area.
Oil painting The Mountain in my Memory was selected to 2011 “Color Ink•Beautiful China”—Gansu Art exhibition by Young Artists.
Oil painting Memory NO.1 about My Hometown was selected to the first Longyuan landscape art exhibition.
Oil painting Sketch on North Shanbei Province was selected to “Beautiful Gansu—Gansu province art sketch exhibition”.
