Another painting high up on the masterpiece list is ‘Garçon à la pipe’ which came as a surprise to all considering the style. This is because it was done early in Picasso’s career and came out of left field when compared to other artists of his time. An unnamed boy model with a wreath of flowers around his head holds a pipe in his hand. The wreath was actually added later, and was the perfect touch to round out one of the better Picasso paintings.
