Song of Songs IV’ was probably the hardest to make out with its story, and features a flying horse-like figure above a town. It is a very wondrous and hard to make out spectacle, as it looks like the rider of the animal is an angel. Getting away from the story and focusing more on the colors, this is probably the most technically dominant of the ‘Song of Songs’ series of Marc Chagall paintings, and has the best use of multiple colors and small intricate details.
